Welcome to the website about our 2006 cruise "Ancient Treasures" in the Mediterranean with the "Rotterdam" from Holland America Line.

Below you see the places we visited during this cruise. The starting point of the "Ancient Treasures" cruise was Lissabon, Portugal. From then on we visited Lisbon, Cadiz, Barcelona, Monaco, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Valletta, Santorini and Kusadasi. We ended our cruise in Athens, Greece.

This is our cruise ship this time: the "Rotterdam". Dedicated in December 1997 in the Netherlands, this is Holland America's flag ship. The ship has a passenger capacity of 1404 passengers, serviced by a crew consisting of 600 crew members. Her length is 780 feet (238 meters) and her maximum speed is 25 knots (46 km/h).
