This page is also about the ship, like the previous page, but now it's about the life on board the ship. The pictures give you a tour around the ship's interior, and you can get an image of how life is on board the ship, what you can do, and how it looks.

This first picture is the Pinnacle Grill, a specialty restaurant that serves the finest meat and fish. This is the only restaurant you have to make reservations for, and for which you'll have to pay an extra fee.

Page introduction photo
The atrium, the center of the ship. This atrium connects three decks and gives access to many of the ship's facilities.
On one evening a barbecue is organized around the Lido pool.
Would you like to taste this cocktail?
There's also a casino on the ship, like on every cruise ship. If you don't know where to spend your money…..
Every day a recent movie is shown in the Wajang Theater.
The Crows Nest, a nice bar on the 9th deck (Sports Deck) with nice panoramic windows. Every night there's live music here.
One special evening, at 11.30 pm, there's the late-night "Dessert Extravaganza", with desserts like ice-cream, pies, chocolate, fresh fruit, cakes, etc. etc. What's in a name…
This is all chocolate!
On the ship there are some professional photographers, who are taking official photos on formal nights and less official photos during the cruise activities and when arriving at one of the cruise destinations. All photos are printed and displayed in the photo gallery, as you can see here. There's no obligation to buy, but when was the last time a nice picture of you has been taken while all dressed-up?
Younger (and older) kids can play games here in the game room.
The Frans Hals theater, with two floor and more than 700 seats. This is where a large part of the evening entertainment takes place, although you've got lots of choices every evening.
One night a large part of the crew is performing in the Frans Hals theater in the Indonesian Crew Show, where local music and dances are presented to the guests. Nice!
At the end of the show everyone is making music on their wooden instruments.
You can browse the web and send e-mails in the Internet corner via a satellite connection. You have to pay additionally for using the Internet.
A coffee and tea bar where you can order your coffee and tea to your liking.
Although there are not many guided tours behind the scenes on the ship anymore, because of safety reasons, there's still the ship's kitchen tour.
You can't imagine how large the kitchen is, but realize they have to make food for more than 2000 persons every day. There's a bakery, a meat department, a grocery department, there are escalators to the dining area's, etc.
For some rest and a good book visit the ship's libray, with (mainly English) books.
The Ocean Bar, one of the fine bars on the ship.
The Piano Bar, with live piano music every late afternoon and evening. You may sing along!
The Rotterdam dining room, the 'official' two-floor dining room. Every day you can have a five course diner if you like (less is fine of course). The menu changes every day.
When you're lucky enough to sit here, you have a nice view out of the panoramic windows.
